About Lisa Valentine
A brief biography…
Originally from Manchester I studied Law at College in Oxford where I was editor of the college student magazine which fuelled my love of writing. I then attended the University of Central Lancashire where I gained a BA (Hons) in English Literature with Law.
My first experience of website design and content was when I designed my own site using Dreamweaver on depression in pregnancy in 2001. From that experience I also helped to set up, edit and maintain a Netmums site for Preston. I researched and wrote the content, designed newsletter templates and wrote press releases for local newspapers for not only my own site but others nationwide. I also became the primary contact between other local site editors and the media.
I finally settled in Wiltshire and became a freelance copywriter, working first for an Australian travel and migration site to gain vital experience. I am very experienced with various content management systems such as WordPress and have full knowledge of SEO. I use Google Analytics and Adwords to boost my clients’ web content.
I now specialise in producing SEO rich, unique web content for websites who seek to improve not only their rankings with search engines but also to target a relevant customer base and to produce content that is interesting for the customer to read.
I also like to dabble in web design and have produced my own website on packed lunch ideas.

I also work closely with other freelance writers and Simon Cordall is one such writer that I highly recommend.
